ANNUAL CHURCH CONFERENCE

   The annual church conference was called to order at 5:00 P.M. by the Reverend Grant R. Lobb, District Superintendent.  The congregation sang a hymn, followed by devotions and an opening prayer by Joe DeHut.  A recording secretary was elected to transcribe the meeting. 

   Reports were given by heads of various committees, with introductions and comments by Reverend Lobb.  The reports were wide-ranging in scope and obviously prepared with care.  Pastor DeHut submitted a detailed 16 page conference report containing information submitted by the committees, as well as her own Pastors Report.

   Reverend Lobb made closing remarks, the congregation sang a hymn, and the meeting was concluded after Pastor DeHut's closing prayer.  The attendees should be thanked for their show of interest in this important church function.  Many thanks to Pastor Rosemary for the time and energy needed to bring the 2007 conference to fruition.  The Reverend Lobb, with his quick wit and masterful handling of the conference is to be thanked.  We know he had a long drive home. 

   At about 6:00 P.M. everyone sat down to a meal of chili with the trimmings.
